A New Kind Of Psychological Thriller

I am experienced in the treatment of a wide range of child and adolescent conditions. These include behavioral difficulties (e.g., oppositional and disruptive disorder), tic and tourette syndrome, OCD, ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders (e.g., separation anxiety), childhood schizophrenia, developmental disorders, adjusting to the realities of life (e.g., back to school problems, sibling conflicts) and many other childhood psychiatric conditions.

I believe in a multidimensional treatment approach in the treatment of childhood disorders. I use an eclectic approach to the treatment, which includes modalities such as individual therapy, family therapy, behavioral therapy and parent guidance.  I am well versed in the latest psychopharmacological treatments available for use in children.

Preetham Grandhi, MD, immigrated to the United States from Bangalore, India to pursue a career in child and adolescent psychiatry.

After his graduation from Yale he has been the Unit Psychiatrist for House 5 at Bronx Children’s Psychiatric Center. He is a Asst. Clinical Professor in the Dept. Of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He is Board Certified in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

He is the author of the childhood stress chapter in “The Turning Point: Conquering Stress with Courage, Clarity and Confidence.”
